An exciting collaboration between Alfa Romeo and Italian coachbuilding company and design centre Zagato has resulted in an exclusive one of a kind model. The partnership comes as Zagato celebrates its 100th anniversary of its very first collaboration with Alfa Romeo.
The partnership has brought to life a nostalgic automotive masterpiece. Introducing the Giulia SWB Zagato sports retro-inspired design combined with modern and innovative Alfa Romeo mechanics. Only one model of the vehicle will be created specifically for a buyer, who has remained anonymous.
Inspired by past Zagato-designed Alfas, the Giulia SWB Zagato features a long nose falling into a low grille and Alfa Romeo’s signature triangle centre. The bodywork itself is a stunning dark turquoise green, a collection of sleek lines and all carbon fibre. Under the hood, the Giulia SWB Zagato features a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. Boasting a 533-horsepower, power is directed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
The Giulia SWB Zagato will make its debut at a Milan race track before being delivered to its new owner in Germany, who currently owns every vehicle from the company’s modern lineup.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato is truly one of a kind, with only a single model carefully crafted for a private buyer who will add the vehicle to their extensive Alfa Romeo collection.
